Let’s make dessert today! – Burnt Cream (Crème brûlée)
Material:
1.
4 egg yolk
2.
2 tablespoons of fine sugar
3.
1 cup of heavy cream
4.
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
5.
Fine sugar (For surface use)
6.
Various types of berries
Step 1: Preheat
the oven to 300ºF (about 150ºC)
Step 2: Mix
the fine sugar and egg yolk, and blend it until the fine sugar is melted. The
color of yolk changes the pale yellow.
Step 3: Add
1 cup of heavy cream and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Step 4: Use
filter to remove the bubble and pour in the ramekin. Then put into the bakeware
and use the way of bain-marie to bake about 40 mins until the liquid change
into solid.
Step 5: Take
out the bakeware and let it cooling. Then you could put into the refrigerator
at least 2 hours.
Step 6: Before
eating, sprinkle an appropriate amount of fine sugar on the surface. Use the
handhold torch to burn the fine sugar into caramel.
Step 7: Put
the burnt cream into the refrigerator about 3 mins. Finally, put some berries
on it.
